Maliki fig peach is one of the late cultivars of peach and its origin is East Azerbaijan. This seedling is a strong cultivar in terms of growth power. Peach trees have a relatively high water requirement and sufficient water should be available to trees, especially in sandy and light soils to minimize the quantitative and qualitative damage to the performance and vegetative growth of trees. Peach trees need the most water during the last stages of growth. The economic life of peach trees is short and about 15 to 20, and for this reason, in newly built gardens, peach trees are used as space-filling plants.
