Seeds of red beet

Beetroot is an annual to perennial plant. In the first year, the plant produces leaves with long petioles, as well as swollen and thick roots, and from the second year, it enters the reproductive phase and seed production.
Beetroot is compatible with almost any type of climate, but grows well in cool climates.
Beetroot seeds are sown mainly directly in the main place and in early autumn by hand or in rows.
Harvesting of beetroot begins when its roots reach a diameter of about 6 cm. Late harvest reduces the quality of sugar beet roots.
